This is my year of being responsible for having some fun. I’m actually in fun training right now. I’m hunkered down and shutting off outside opinions, good advice and helpful remarks. The only one I’m listening to right now is my inner child, who never really had a childhood. The only promise I make is to my children that I will embarrass them under an assumed name. I will take recommendations for sultry and sassy aliases. I’d also love to hear some recommendations on fun things to do from girls that know how to have fun. I’m even going to try to find a career that’s fun. This weekend I worked on some new girlfriend cards for my DivaXpressions line. That was fun. Let me know what you think.
Today I’ve figured out how to get my itunes on my iphone and I’m listening to Beyoncé’s Single Ladies and Dean Martin’s, Sway. It’s good to get moving again. Now if I can figure out how to get facebook to work and practice my stand up quips on twitter, I’ll enter the 21st century and my 6th decade in style.
Agent Diva,
You are tons of fun already!
Here's what I do for fun: Pack a lunch and take 3 grandchildren to a park for tag, kite flying, baseball.
Make people laugh.
Wear high heels and red lipstick every chance I can.
Go to the movies dressed in a costume.
Get up on the dance floor even if it's in my own kitchen.
Read my favorite books one more time.
Pretend I'm Will Smith singing "Get Jiggy Wit it."
Send letters to my girlfriends.
Torture my husband by telling him we have to move.
Love from Philly,
MJ

The things I do for fun are.
Going out with friends, especially the ones I reconnected with on facebook.
I love to do crafts:
Sewing, jewelry making, scrapbooking.
Ebay
Having lunch with my husband who always makes me laugh
Listen to music on iPod and dance around the house.
Just enjoying being me.
Shopping is always fun.
Great website Maureen. Just recently became a member and love everything on it. I am finding my inner Diva. Thanks.

Okay, I like to say outrageous things about my friends when we might be at an event together - say going out to dinner. For example, "Hi, this is my friend Maureen and she writes for Gourmet Magazine. How long did you say it might take to get that table?"
Also, its fun to pile a gang of women friends together in a car, play golden oldies and sing at the top of our lungs with the windows down at stop signs.
