Welcome back!

For all of you who know me...the one thing you know for sure (besides I love clothes ;') LOL
Is that I love the critters.  The next segments will be about animal medicine....

Let's get started...I'm in my beautiful treehouse, Gray Kitty is sunning herself on the balcony, there is drumming in the background and magic in the air....

What does it mean to call someone or something "brother"?  Most of us can agree that by calling anything in our minds and souls "family", we are offering a particular type of energy to the relationship we have chosen to be in.  Family means different things to different people.  The truth is, we are all family.  Humans, animals, plants, the earth, the sun, the sky....everything is connected to everything else.  Animals are companions, teachers, friends and family.  Dogs teach us loyalty, cats bring mystery, dolphins remind us that healing and community are things that can easily accompany fun and laughter. And our brother the wolf shows us how to pick our battles.

Busy as a bee

dog day afternoon

sly as a fox

eagle eye

free as a bird

bear hug

he swims like a fish....we've all heard these.  And many more I'm sure you could think of!

Instinctively, we take the medicine.  Native Americans use the term "medicine" to refer to the special powers Spirit gives each part of creation: plants, minerals and rocks, as well as creatures of the animal kingdom.  This medicine increases our connection to Spirit and brings us healing, strength and wisdom.

Animals are among the most giving of God's creations.  In the Native way, it is known that Great Spirit often sends messages of awareness, guidance and adjustment through the appearance and actions of Creature Beings in our lives.  When you pay attention to the Creature Beings that cross your path, you will receive much.

What were you thinking of when the Crow cawed outside the window?  What action were you planning when the ant bit your foot?  The message will be associated with what is close at hand in your mind and in your life.

When the world was new, the Great Mystery created the Universe to work in harmony.  Warriors ceremoniously prepared for the hunt in concert with the balance, asking permission to slay the intended kill.  The animal knew of its fate and graciously relented.  Every piece of the animal was efficiently used and appreciated.  

The greed, ego and possessiveness of human nature has distracted us from remembering our manners!  Learning to ask permission and saying thank you for a kindness are fundamental and universal rules of etiquette.

On behalf of humans everywhere, please join me in saying thank you to the animal world for all you do for us.  Thank you for being a part of our family.

Why is it important for me to be psychic?

With cell phones, internet, e-mail and airplanes...it seems the village of our modern world has become closer.  And it has.  Because of this close proximity to one another, it's even more important for us to now be deliberate with keeping our own spaces (spiritual, mental, emotional and physical) as clean and tidy as possible.

How Psychic are YOU?

 
Here's the what....

Twenty years ago when I was an insurance agent (you can't get any more mainstream than THAT ;') LOL, being a professional intuitive was most certainly not on my radar screen. I've learned so much since then and am looking forward to sharing that knowledge with you.

What does being psychic really mean? Is it only about telling the future?
Webster's New World Dictionary definition of psychic is simply...sensitive to forces beyond the physical. Humans have been intrigued by psychic phenomena as far back as recorded history. The first systematic study of ESP was conducted in 1882, when the Society for Psychical Research was founded in London.
By calling it "new age", modern times would have us believe that being psychic, having ESP or intuition is a newly discovered art. Oh....just the contrary!!!!....to learn how to control and use your gift of the sixth sense is simply remembering what our souls already know. Just like our other senses of sight, sound, taste, smell and touch. Our "sixth sense" is no different. We each have it and use it in our own way. The police call it a "hunch", people refer to women's intuition all the time, and you know when your gut reaction to something is spot on. That's being psychic ;')
Our ancestors understood and embraced this. And as we remember our connection, hopefully we too will reap the benefits of being in touch with the entirety of ourselves.
