Feel Healthier in 3 Easy Steps

Many of you want to feel more health and vitality every day.  There are 3 easy things that you can do to feel better right now.  These may be simple things, but are you really doing them?  How we care for our body is cumulative.  Yes, it all adds up.

Three Easy Steps to Quickly Improve your Health:

1.  Eliminate sodas, fruit juices, and excessive caffeine.  Sodas, diet sodas, and fruit juices are all loaded with sugar and chemicals.  Carbonated beverages can wreak havoc on the digestion also.  Stick to filtered water, and a little coffee or tea.

2.  Walk 20 - 30 minutes several days a week.  Start small with a few minutes and build up to 30 minutes most days.  We were made for walking!

3.  Have just a few minutes of meditation/affirmation/prayer daily.  It is your time.  Perhaps the only time you get quiet and connect with Spirit.  It is that important.

Take some time for yourself. You are worth it.  It is important.

Ask for the blessings!   Until next week,    Miluna

Are you God's Gift to the World?

Remember when people said (and probably still do) "Who does he think he is, God's gift to the world?" Referring to someone who appears to be arrogant, or rude or has no humility.

The truth is, we are all God's gift to the world.  How would we show up if we really believed this?  How would we relate to others in the current world?

Here are 10 ways I believe we might express ourselves in the world if we knew this in our heart:

1.  We would behave with integrity.

2.  We would return telephone calls and emails.

3.  We would show up for appointments.

4.  We would show up for appointments on time.

5.  We would drive with more courtesy and share the road.

6.  We would be free to be truer to ourselves.

7.  We would learn how to say no.

8.  We would use manners and say "please", "thank you" and "excuse me".

9.  We would have the courage to tell our truth.

10. We would feel more self esteem and be more "on-purpose".

Do you realize you are God's gift to the world?  Do you show this?

May Goddess/God Bless your socks off!

Scales for Health?

Last week I decided I wanted one of those scales that measures everything--weight, fat percentage, hydration percentage, and bone mass.  I had not possessed a scale for years, and I never weigh myself.  I was purchasing new things for my new home, and found a scale that was programmable and remembers your information.

It was easy and fun to program and I stepped on the scale (it says to do this in bare feet).  I put my little toes on the cold glass and there was the display in a logical order--weight 99; body fat level 17.6; body water level 60%; and bone mass 5.1.  Wow!  This was fun.

I was mostly curious about my hydration level to make sure that I am drinking enough water.  I was surprised my body fat level was so low.  It seems my food habits and exercise habits paid off even more than I believed!

The manual contains some useful information about what levels are considered "normal" and what you may want to discuss with a health care professional.  The bathroom scale even has a 10 year warranty.

I admit, after using mostly my own intuition to monitor my health, this was fun and informative.  I might even check my weight and levels once a month now!

I encourage you to use whatever tools will help you feel great about paying attention to your body.

If you would like information on what scale I purchased, just send me an email.

Healthy and Happy March days to you!    Until next week...Miluna
